MISSION PENINSULA - RETURNING HOME THROUGH TRAVERSE CITY

Spring flowering trees as we leave Traverse City for Traverse Bay RV Resort.

Mabel's is famous for their great breakfast -all made in the old fashioned way.

This is the Grand Traverse Spa, Resort, and Golf Course and is our closest neighbor to the West.

We always enjoy seeing this lovely old barn and field across the road from Traverse Bay RV Resort .

MISSION PENINSULA

Typical tree lined roads on the Peninsula.

One of many groves of Cherry trees in bloom.

A lonely dock jutting out into East Traverse Bay. Traverse Bay RV Resort is just a mile or so inland across this Bay.

Rolling hills and fields of Mission Peninsula.

OLD MISSION PENINSULA - THE GROCERY STORE

This is an old time grocery store--not for tourist only--old wood floors, glass cases for all sorts of things, hats, shirts, hardware, you name it, it's there.

Deli sandwiches and the famous Moomers ice cream is offered. Penny candies along with grocery items.

They are noted for their cream cheese stuffed pretzels which are amazing!

Our truck parked at the grocery store along a peaceful country road.
