SPRING IN TRAVERSE BAY RV RESORT

Below are pictures from varies sites around the resort to show the variety of plants and landscaping that we see in our "Northern" home. I am not an expert gardener and cannot tell you the names of these lovely plants, trees and flowers, but hope you will enjoy this small sample of what we see around us.

NEW ORLEANS, LOUSIANNA

Driving on I-10 over Lake Pontchartrain to New Orleans.

Hurricane Katrina damage still evident after a number of years since the hurricane hit.

Most all neighbors we saw as we approached the heart of New Orleans were still damaged and neighborhoods appear to have many houses that are not safe to live in.

Beignets and Cafe Au Lait are the main menu items here and the lines are long all day to find a table for this powdered sugar light and airy deep fried Beignet.
