FLOODS AND VERY COLD WEATHER

We had a late December through late March where our temperatures--day and night--were 10-15 degrees below normal. Apparently, the coldest winter on record in the Ft. Myers area. Above is a picture of the damage done to our palm tree and how our yard looks in the dry season.

Our site on the right. Our bikes are under cover at the front end of our RV. Another palm tree struggling to survive the cold.

On March 22, we had a torrential rainfall. This is our backyard under water. The water came almost to the back of our RV. Below, the debris line can be seen. Many of the streets in the RV Park were also flooded. This is usually the dry season, but this year we received quite a bit of rain along with the cold weather.
