EAST TO WEST OF THE CASCADE MOUNTAINS

This picture is east of the Cascade Mountains which is more arid. At the bottom of the hill is the Snake River.

Then west of the Cascade Mountains it is lush and green. The change from east to west is dramatic and occurs suddenly.


Eastern Oregon - A typical curving highway through the low mountains and a storm brewing which we were able to escape.
