PROGRESO ON THE NORTH COAST OF YUCATAN

After visitin Dzibilchaltun, we continued on the road to Progreso. Ted and Ann Lane were providing excellent company and transportation with their toad (RV lingo for towed car). Progreso is a port city now used by Wintering Canadians taking advantage of low rents and also used as a Cruise Ship stoppping point.
We asked around and found other fellow caravaners already there and recommending this eating spot directly on the waterfront. It offered hamburgers and American TV - what more could country folk want in the Yucatan? (snark). The view of the traffic on the sidewalk and street activities WAS excellent, however
Here is the view towards the cruise ship pier. The Bronco parked in front of us is the toad belonging to our fellow caravaners from Lubbock, Texas.
